During orientation, we will: • Introduce OUTMemphis, our mission, and our staff • Review our programs and services • Explore current volunteer opportunities and shifts • Review how to navigate the Volunteer Matters Portal • Explain what to expect during different volunteer shifts • Review important safety policies and procedures • Answer questions about volunteering with OUTMemphis *Orientation is mandatory for volunteers who wish to work directly with community members. *A background check is required for those that want to volunteer with our youth programs. *Orientations are currently held virtually.
